Athletic Capacity

Our performance examination provides a detailed assessment of your overall health and athletic capacity. It has been designed to evaluate your physical condition, identify areas to improve performance, and offer guidance to lower injury risk. Each test has been carefully selected for the insight it provides into your cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal health.

Cardiovascular Assessment

The examination begins with a thorough cardiovascular assessment. We perform a two-dimensional color doppler echocardiography to visualize heart function and a resting electrocardiogram to monitor heart activity. A specialist cardiologist will then discuss the results with you in a private consultation.

Metabolic and Performance Analysis

To understand your body’s metabolic processes and performance potential, we first perform an InBody test. This advanced technology utilizes bioelectric impedance analysis to produce a rapid breakdown of body composition. Additionally, spiroergometry is used to assess your aerobic capacity and cardiovascular fitness, lactate measurements are taken to analyze lactic acid levels during exercise, and gas analysis evaluates your respiratory efficiency. Following these tests, a specialist on our team will discuss the results with you and identify areas for improvement.

Vascular Health Analysis

To assess your vascular health, we conduct a duplex sonography and directional doppler examination of the extracranial vessels, including a thyroid ultrasound. We also collect data on microcirculation using the TOPP (Tissue Optical Perfusion Pressure) method and the ankle-brachial index (ABI). These tests are powerful tools that help athletes optimize their performance and avoid circulatory issues.
